Life Saver

Life Saver, oil on vinyl, 2016. A figure wearing a red swimsuit secured inside an inner tube. The vinyl background is a remnant of an old swimming pool liner, it's texture evoking the movement of water. The figure's posture and the presence of a life preserver suggest a moment of contemplation, preparedness, or perhaps even a subtle commentary on needing or offering support.
