Masquerade

Masquerade is an oil painting on canvas, painted in 2016. A candid vision of people at a party in formal attire; black tuxedo, purple cocktail dress with hat, and an orange cat under the table. This imagery comes from my head, no reference used for this. I strive to push and pull the foreground and background. The dark black (which I rarely use) was useful to push the viewers eye into the distance while holding Mr. Tuxedo in the foreground. Prints available.
